5 /5 James Doherty: Superb cafe. Great atmosphere and always great value. I’ve become a regular after hospital appointments. It’s a great change of scene for anyone spending time in the hospital, or waiting for other. And it’s got a fantastic local feel too, even though many guests come from Hampstead Heath or the Royal Free. This is rare in London and very very welcome.
2 /5 R Deet: Unfortunately the food quality was disappointing. I ordered smashed avocado on sourdough, but the bread wasn’t properly toasted and the avocado tasted more like store bought guacamole than fresh.
Service was also lacking, the waitress was friendly but didn’t seem familiar with the menu and had to repeatedly go and check answers to our questions. We also asked for the bill, which never arrived, so we ended up going inside to pay. Overall, not a great experience.
5 /5 Duncan: We use this cafe whenever we visit the hospital ( hospital visits not obligatory) LOL.
Best cafe in town!!! Prices reasonable
(Dont tell the management) LOL.
Food excellent, quality great, quantity good,
Selection (good variety). Staff lovely, friendly, (No Im not related) LOL.
What more can I say.
PS this is opposite Hampstead train station so busy area. Last 3 occasions there has been a vacant parking space near by ( street parking / pay on line max 2 hours).
Sunday free so popular.

E. Tegun Ulgener Absolutely an oasis in a middle of Hempstead. Highly recommended. Very good variety of food and amazing atmosphere with a very friendly staff. Just beautiful.
Tonoya Barua Loved loved loved the menu & the flavours of Taro Sushi & Japanese restaurant , Finchley Road .
We enjoyed Everything we ordered from crab stick & tobiko rolls to beef Bibimbaap
My fav was the tuna salad, beef Bibimbaap the steamed vegetable dimsum ( unbelievably yummy) . the prawn and vegetable tempura were also very tasty but it lacked seasoning..
I highly recommend going and eating there
They are also on Deliveroo .. but I recommend dining in
Service was quick & the waiting staff were very helpful.
Kritika Mishra Tried this love place today morning and my friend and I were so so so happy.
Cosy atmosphere, delicious coffee, and to top it off, amazing owner. He is a true gem. Really friendly, courteous, and fun.
I would love to visit with his place again.
The flat white was truly a flat white, perfect microfoam. I was delighted to see that for sure.
Not surprised that this place has a high rating.
God bless :)
Rizza I don’t say this lightly: I just had the best crêpe of my entire life. Balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. From the very first bite, I knew this was on another level. Whether it was sweet or savory (I’d honestly go back for both).
I’ve had crêpes at trendy spots around the world, and none, none, compare to this. If youre in Hampstead, do yourself a favor: stop what youre doing and go get one here!!!
Kimberley Oh My regular spot for Cantonese food. The service is always friendly and has that warm neighbourhood feel. The dishes are authentic, full of flavour, and go well beyond the usual Cantonese offerings you see in other London Chinese restaurants. You’ll find classics like 枝竹羊腩煲, 八寶鴨, and 鹹蛋黃金蝦 — all done beautifully. Absolutely love this place!
