5 /5 Rebecca Batty: Excellent and attentive service from the staff and delicious food, highly recommend this place. We arrived late, after 9pm so less people and would have liked to see more people - but everyone should come here, from aesthetic and ambience, to the fine food and service I could not fault it. Lovely time. Many thanks! It made up for a bad experience we’d had next door. Really lovely. Much appreciated.

5 /5 Paul Hobden: We dined at 144 On the Hill the night prior to our wedding with a large group of friends and family. I must admit it wasnt my first choice of venue, but I neednt have been worried as the overall experience was a cut above expectations for a hotel restaurant. Firstly, the booking process was painless with the staff responding promptly to queries, and willing to make minor adaptions to their group menu to suit our guests preferences - which was highly appreciated. Service on the night was seamless, the food and presentation excellent, and ambiance fantastic. Couldnt have asked for more on what was a big evening for us, would happily return.

5 /5 Raj Dhillon: What a wonderful experience as always. We have been coming here now for the past few years and it gets better and better. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The presentation, the quality of the food, and the overall atmosphere were all exceptional. They truly went above and beyond to make the experience feel special, and it did not go unnoticed. A special thank you to your staff, who were incredibly helpful, attentive, and so warm throughout. They ensured everything ran smoothly and made all of our guests feel completely looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail really elevated the entire afternoon and evening. Thank you.

5 /5 BRP: Really nice Sunday Lunch yesterday . Lovely surroundings , great service, warm atmosphere enhanced by the live music duo , good food & at reasonable prices. Good choice of cocktails & reasonably priced wine list. Maybe a little bit more imaginative menu if I have to find a negative point but everything was beautifully cooked & well presented !

The selection of cocktails was just what was needed, the team where on hand to assist with any questions we had, After selecting our cocktails we accompanied them with a delicious selection of light bites. I have to say the choices on the menu was great and we choose a good selection to get a taste of the flavours . The food was hot wee presented on the plate . Yummy! The service was efficient we even fit in another cheeky couple of cocktails. The atmosphere was pleasant friendly staff made us feel welcome. It’s a must visit.
