BBQ & Suya - (Near , South East)

1 /5 Taiwo Gbadamosi: Very terribly cooked food. The "suya pepper" had some sweet scent to it. The so called Asun was just goat meat with aging onions and red pepper sprinkled on it. Fried rice was flavourless with lots of yellow colouring and I had to throw away the jollof rice. The plantain had clearly been refrigerated for too long in a cooked state. If you are a native from anywhere in West Africa do not come near this place. After civilly giving my complaints over the phone the call was simply cut with me being unable to reach again. I can never eat from this establishment again and I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.

1 /5 sola oladapo: Do not use! They came 2 hours late and so the food was 4 hours late for serving. None of the sides ordered were provided, they brought frozen rice that was very spoilt , smelly and slimy. They couldnt catch up with the timing as guests were hungry and the food came out slowly. Apart from barbecued meats, we paid for fragrant rice, jollof rice, pasta salad, yam, salad all of which was not served! Most of the corn brought to the venue was not served or roasted because of their timing. They took the uncooked pasta back with them. The dodo/plantain served was minimal. There was a huge lack of professionalism in their service and these young men still have a long way to go in being able to deliver satisfactorily for an event. They actually went to buy most of their coal during the event which was rather shocking that they came without enough cooking materials. They were extremely unprepared. That they thought they could bring a frozen cooler of rice to an event to serve shows their level of understanding. Bringing uncooked pasta still in their factory bags too was just unbelievable, this job was booked weeks in advance so see no reason why something easy like pasta was not prepped, just boiling and chilling the pasta from 2 days before would have worked fine! They ended up being very rude and defensive, rather than apologetic which was unacceptable. I would not recommend Bare Tasty as they still have a long way to go in providing barbecue services for a party.

1 /5 Bola Agbabiaka: They arrived 2 hours late, as a result they couldnt start grilling until about an hour later! The jollof rice arrived in a cooler yet it was frozen so guests had to warm the food only to find it had become slimy + wasnt fully cooked!!! The grilled fish was insufficient and the corn grilling began way too late! 3 items paid for were not delivered i.e. Yam , salad & cajun rice! They were non apologetic and were not willing to discuss a refund for the missing items! Morale of the story is never to pay in full until the end of the event.

1 /5 Esima Sisan Aganbi: Was a guest at a barbecue at St Albans city yesterday. Their meat was not well cook. The jollof rice came frozen!!!, they were supposed to serve pesto pasta, yam, salad but they were not provided & they came very late and were very rude. Very Poor customer service . Thank God there was another caterer there. Was a total rip-off.

1 /5 Keen Fashionista Mrs T: This company should go back to the drawing board. We hired them for a bbq held at St Albans. They were supposed to be at the venue for 1pm but arrived well after 3pm. We agreed on a set menu for a fixed price and most of the food we agreed with him to deliver was not delivered. Overall I can not recommend this company because their services are poor. Quality of food is terrible and not up to hygiene standard.
