Cotswolds Hotel & Spa - (Near Oxfordshire, South East)

4 /5 Mark Jones: Just spent a few nights at the hotel which my wife and I used as a base to explore the various Cotswold towns for the weekend. The double room offered was basic yet functional and clean with a good bathroom. Having read mixed reviews regarding the restaurants food I can only describe our culinary experience as pleasantly surprising, three courses all of which hit the mark and were very much a quality higher than expected and very much recommended. Breakfast was as youd expect, numerous cereals, juices, pastries and a full English which was more than adequate. All the staff were pleasant and friendly but sadly we had no time to use the spa but all in all a we had lovely time at the hotel and would definitely recommend a stay.

5 /5 maryann Mason: Me and my husband booked for a 1 night stay and managed to get a really good price, we only booked the standard room. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were nice and friendly on arrival. We sat and had a couple of drinks in the bar area which felt nice and relaxed and the bar tender was friendly and professional. We didn’t use the restaurant or golf facilities but I’m sure they would be just as good. Free parking for our stay and the hotel is only down the road from chipping Norton town. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

4 /5 Leembu: Overall, a good value stay. Coming from Kent, it felt reasonably priced compared to hotels here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though there were a few practical issues such as problems with the doors, manual keys, and a lack of mirrors. The hotel looks more luxurious in photos than it does in person. That said, the views were lovely and definitely a highlight. We stayed to attend a wedding ceremony, and it suited our needs well for that occasion.

5 /5 Janice Harris: We have just spent two nights here for my birthday. The bed is super comfy and the studio room is warm and cozy even though it is really big. Booked for two rounds of golf as part of the package and we loved the course. Interesting and well maintained. All the staff were so helpful and accommodating and I really must mention Beth, who was great from helping with our booking to checking us in and chatting to us at reception. Felt like friends. Food was lovely, particularly the main courses. Puddings weren’t so good. One guest complained there was no bottled water in the rooms but the water is perfectly drinkable. Only minor comment is from some of the rooms you have to go outside to get to reception, bar or restaurant and there is no covered walkway. I had a spa treatment which was great and value for money. The hotel just has treatment rooms, no jacuzzi or pool etc. Thank you Beth for making my birthday stay extra special!!! Hope to meet you again soon.
