4 /5 Steven Blench: I ordered 3 spring rolls and a steamed bun to start. Waiter brought my orange juice and some free prawn crackers. Few minutes later my spring rolls arrived and just after that my steamed bum. Both were hot and tasty. The bun had mushroom,pork vermicelli and half a boiled egg in the centre was the pastry was like a soft suet pastry and was very filling. My main was the rice with caramelized braised pork, 4 big chunks of pork a boiled egg and big portion of rice. Definitely doggy bag to take home. The pork was soft but not what I expected, as it was my first time I thought it was going to be like a pork fried rice. The sauce had just enough spice heat and very tasty.

5 /5 steve dansey: Just been to the Golden Lotus at Herne Bay. A superb Vietnamese cafe open 10am to 10pm. I have to say it was more a dining experience rather than a meal. Our hosts only too happy to advise us on what went with what and how to eat the beautifully authentic food. The menu is expanding but enough to satisfy all appetites. We blitzed the menu having the spring rolls as starters and then sampling a classic pho and a noddle soup the meat and vegetarian dumpling. The food was superbly fresh and flavourfull and the value for money is very high. A bowl of Pho and 2 dumpligs will easily feed 2 people. I have eaten all round the world and have to say the quality of food and service is of the highest standard. The decor is typical asian cafe but the experience is top class I am sure the atmosphere will reach 5 once people find this gem I am not a paid or retained critic this is just how we all felt about the meal. Go and try.

5 /5 Matthew Joe Abraham: Loved the atmosphere , very friendly service. I’d highly recommend the taro bubble tea, honestly the best I’ve had .The beef pho was so comforting and the beef was so tender. The portion sizes are huge for what u pay. You can genuinely share one bowl between 2 people.

4 /5 Kevin Cusack: The staff are super friendly. The noodle/soup portions are HUGE. I did suggest that they should offer a childs/smaller portion. We took half of the food away with us! And the price - its relatively cheap and extremely good value for money. The bao buns were delicious, the pork was delicious etc, etc Why four stars? Its new and they only accept cash and they serve no alcohol. However, they were happy for us to buy wine from across the street and give us glasses. As I said, the staff are super friendly and accommodating.

5 /5 Ly pierson: Authentic Vietnamese restaurant, not a trade or mix with others . Foods take longer to serve as needed to prepare all from fresh . Highly recommended! Very cozy and warm friendly welcoming, good price for whole family . all foods are so delicious and healthy without too oily , especially spring rolls .
