5 /5 MONKFISH000: Let’s just cut to the chase. The food is great but is it why I brought my family here? They thought so. I came for the dogs. SO MANY GOOD DOGS. Small ones, big ones and ones in between those two sizes. Makes you feel happy just seeing a content beast laying under a table while its owner sits in silence with their husband/wife and drinking a hot beverage. Parquet flooring too which is worth one of those stars.

5 /5 AmIEvenHere: Was a little unfortunate that the chef burnt toast or something and the fire alarms were going off. Doors and windows had to be opened to let the smoke out. I understand that this can happen which would be fine if they had a proper plan in place for this situation. As my coffee and myself went cold. Took over an hour for 2 small breakfasts to arrive and then they were cold , no one thought to close the doors? A disappointing experience, but we will be back to try again as it was busy being the first day back open and burning of toast does happen. I think on a normal operating dayit would have been great going by the previous reviews.

5 /5 Amiee Ross: Had the gammon and chips, as it gluten free for husband and it was Amazing!!! Its normally a boring option with small portions but not this! The were crispy, the gammon was plentiful and it came with peas and salad. Large portions that my hubby had to finish for me. Give this lovely place a try and you will not regret it.

4 /5 Helen Ring: Had the roast dinner today .it looked awful but gave it the benefit of the doubt ! Nope it was horrid ....dry hard burnt Yorkshires old wet shriveled roast potatoes ( not ) over boiled faded yellow peas , shrivelled burnt carrots and parsnips .red cabbage was nice and so was the broccoli cheese .I square cold chunk of stuffing and 2 good portions of beef ( as tough as old boots ) the dog is happy though .no photo as I didnt think to take a couple .good job I didnt take my insulin (t1 diabetic ) hubby said dont bother to complain as it was only about £18 ish each !!!! So unfortunately I didnt. The food in there is always lovely ,hot ,good quality but this was the worst ever roast Ive had .the table next door left alot of theires too ! I so wish Id have gone for a refund or an exchange
