The Crab and Lobster Inn - (Near , South East)

5 /5 janine fourie: We stumbled on this lovely Pub/Inn. From the very first “welcome “ when we arrived around midday I knew it was somewhere I wanted to come back to. Bruce greeted us with a warm welcome and asked if we were jointing them and said our dogs were welcome. The smell of the Inn was so warming. It smelt cozy (of Thats a thing) .We were only having a drink outside in the sunshine but decided to return in the evening for a meal. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived in the evening and again Bruce had a warm welcome waiting for what felt like jusy for us . The ambience was lovely. We were seated in a busy area and when I asked Bruce if we could move to a quieter area he was only too happy to oblige. As I am going through chemo (he noticed the hair and signs) he said he would try to keep the area less busy which was really very sweet. The food was delicious and very fresh. All in all we would highly recommend a visit and we will be back the next time we visit the Island. P.s they even have a dog menu ❤️

5 /5 Alex Conkleton: A traditional seaside ramblers pub that balances local, destination, pub & restaurant. A spacious interior is portioned with exposed wood beam wall frames filled with old books & sea collectables. Theres space for the restaurant tables nestled amongst the wood lattice displays & the bar zone maintains the traditional pub with a good selection of taps. A friendly, keep busy team provide polite service. Stone & wood patched floor under tudor, panelled & patterned paper ceilings. Low soft seats with a couple of leather armchairs flanking the working, brick fireplace. A relaxed, quiet, calm offers a walkers respite. A hideaway steps from the beautiful beaches of Bembridge. This is destination escapism in preserved heritage of village pub by the sea.

5 /5 Peter Bruce: Stopped off for lunch here , not visited for many years but decided add hoc to give it a go. Great service , lovely food and availed of residents discount via IOW pub app. The two chaps front of house were very attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and the quality was perfect. Lovely afternoon and worth the visit.

5 /5 Chris Luckens: Only write reviews when unhappy with the experience or have found a gem, this place is an absolute gem and should be shouted about. Great service and delicious hot and well presented plates. The Parsnip and Mushroom soup was so good we got the recipe from the kitchen. The three large Sausage and Bubble & Squeak dish was fantastic, others had the Pie, and Ham Egg and chips that could not be finished. Would fully recommend.

5 /5 Elize Mckinnie: We were away on a girls weekend and decided to do a long walk and stop at this pub for lunch. The food was wonderful, the most delicious fish pie, lovely burger with a generous homemade patty, a toad in the hole with large sausages and then an Apple crumble for desert. The pub landlord was very welcoming and had a good laugh with us throughout our time there. We will most definitely return next year for another delicious lunch. Thank you!
