Kenneth Liu The service was fantastic, amazing and friendly waitresses and the owner came out for a chat too. We used a Groupon voucher and unlike other places where you get treated like second class citizens we were treated like royalty - kudos to the staff. Again even with a Groupon deal the food was really high quality and delicious. The hot fish platter and scallops are must orders!

Chloe Jackson Just had a delicious meal from The Shad! Chicken Dhansak, Pilau rice, garlic and coriander naan, with mint sauce and their homemade red sauce. Tasty, hot, fresh!!! Excellent. Will be back!

Nicola Gardner We enjoyed the best cod we have ever tasted, absolutely huge, the chips were amazing (in a mini basket so could have eaten more - but enough for most people). Beautifully presented with salad on a gold dish. They were not busy in October so the manager was able to chat & discuss the area, as we were on holiday. Highly recommend, opposite the pier so would imagine the outside seating in season would be lovely.

Lillian Quinton I’ve been coming here for a few years now it’s always brilliant food/drinks original ideas and fun/tasty menu at a very reasonable/good price! I recommend coming down and having a hot drink and warm meal, breakfast and lunch and both beautiful. 10/10 place!
