tina Oren Absolutely fantastic experience at Mahala. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from start to finish. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell care and quality go into every dish. The atmosphere was lovely and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Blacklock City - City of London

Melissa Rattrovo My family came here for the incredible “All-In Sunday Roast” experience. I was the oddball being lactose intolerant vegetarian going to a steak house style restaurant. The experience at the Blacklock City location was wonderful. The staff was very attentive, sweet, and accommodating. They did not need to, but they curated custom dairy-free veggie dish for me. It was packed with herbs and flavor. Absolutely delicious. My family enjoyed the all-in roast and would have it again. The portions are generous and for London standards, I found the prices to be reasonable. Highly recommend this place even if you’re more on the vegan side, they will accommodate.

Leo McIntosh Amrutha is an incredible business to eat at and support. They create a welcoming and comfortable environment, they serve delicious vegan food, and are really generous with their portions and ethos. I went there for dinner and left full and fulfilled! I took away leftovers for future meals, and will definitely return for more!

The Hub - Berkshire

D This is the only eatery in the studio. It is run by Baxter Storey, the same firm that runs Pinewood and Shepperton canteens. The prices seem to be a bit less than the other two studios. Having just been built, it is very modern and clean. Only seems to be one toilet, but I might be mistaken.

Dill Jones A class act. been coming here for my regular coffee treat and the odd lunch or event over the years, and while I don’t usually write reviews, Saturdays visit deserves my time here. I have gotten to know the team over the years and they have every bit of integrity and professionalism you want in your favourite haunt. I go back time and time again because I trust the team here. Saturday it seemed the whole world descended onto the beach and the lovely team were doing the usual runs. I sat and enjoyed the brilliant views, a glass of vino and waited (a little longer than usual) for my fish finger sandwich. Bliss! The wait doesn’t matter much when you have a sunny Saturday afternoon off, views like they have and a cold glass of wine. As I said I have gotten to know the team over the years, and I could see they were feeling a little defeated. Please remember… we are all going through a hard economic time right now. Hospitality is tough especially. If we want to keep enjoying these fantastic local spots, we owe it to the staff to give them grace and we owe ourselves a little less self importance and a lot more perspective. Keep it up all. Looking forward to my next coffee and fish sarnie!

Eve S I’ve been a Grind customer for years, and the quality has never dropped. The baristas are skilful and accommodating, and every cup is made with care. The coffee is consistently great, and the service is excellent. Emily never disappoints with her wonderful hospitality. Highly recommend!
