5 /5 Becky Greenwood: We had our work Christmas party here on 3/12/25 with table of 12 and chose the festive menu. The food was great and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent friendly, attentive, and made the whole evening run smoothly. A fantastic place for a group celebration, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

4 /5 Lynn: A nice Christmas eve spent in the Optimist. The atmosphere was great. We had booked months ago for a table for 6 at 7.30pm. We sat and relaxed with our first drink only to realise ourselves that the kitchen closed at 8pm. It was now 7.50pm so we rushed to choose and order just in time. The food was okay. A nice evening.

5 /5 Len Gwyn: The team at the Optimist looked after us so well. We’d initially been put on a table next to a private function and the bar which was super busy and loud, but they managed to move us as soon as we asked even though the place was full. Really good service and delicious Sunday roast too!
