5 /5 lukasz iwanek: Just wanted to say big Thank you for Thomas Waghorn staff, which is really hard working peoples, very friendly and helpful, I am existing customer wetherspoon for the last 6 years and I have been visiting many wetherspoons places around UK but Thomas Waghorn staff went beyond of my expectations with Pubs services, really amazing people, also just wanted to add on one names here which are deserved to be on top of the mail list of Wetherspoon spirit people kieran is amazing hard working man which flying 100 miles an hour and definitely he deserves pay rise, Top Geezer, Thanks for all Thomas Waghorn member staff

1 /5 Billie Isaac: Absolutely poor service from the Thomas Waghorn, every single table was full of built up plates and glasses that appeared to be from breakfast; This was around 3pm in the afternoon. Staff was approached about whether there was any staff who could come and clear the tables, and the response wasn’t much better - Young man claimed there were no staff. Additionally, we ordered drinks well before ordering food, the food had came and was eaten before our drinks were even given. All round disgusting service.

1 /5 Morgan: During my break, I went to Wetherspoon to order a quick dessert and an orange juice. When I sat down, I noticed that my table did not have a number, which made it impossible to place an order through the app. I went to the bar and asked a female staff member for the table number. She informed me that it was “200.” I placed my order through the app and waited approximately 30 minutes, but my food never arrived. The pub was almost empty at the time, so I went to the bar to check on my order. I was told that no order had been received. I then showed my receipt, which clearly stated Chatham Wetherspoon, but the staff member insisted that I had ordered from the wrong restaurant. She said she would get her manager to take a look. When the manager came over, he immediately had a rude and dismissive attitude. I explained that I had been waiting 30 minutes without receiving my order. He went to retrieve it, and when he returned, the dessert was in poor condition — the ice cream had completely melted into the brownie. I politely asked for a replacement, but the manager refused and said it wasn’t his problem because I had entered the wrong table number. I explained that I had used the number provided by his staff (“200”). He then became verbally aggressive and called me a “black b” I recorded the interaction and have reported the incident to the police as a case of racial abuse. I am extremely disappointed and distressed by this experience. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and for appropriate action to be taken against the manager involved.

1 /5 Richard Williams: Called in a couple of times on a Sunday and both times tables were not cleared for ages after people had gone. Left over food was being eaten by presumably homeless people who were roaming round the place scavenging. We saw this on both visits and at one point there was not one single table free from clutter upstairs. The person bringing out food upstairs repeatedly walked past tables that needed clearing with an empty tray. More staff and training is needed. On a positive note the barman downstairs was friendly and helpful.

1 /5 MetroCyc: Needs more staff, it wasn’t even that busy but staff were running around barely able to cope. Need to have more than 3 people in a Wetherspoons of that size on a Saturday. I imagine at least one will have quit after that shift or require psychological therapy. Whole place was in an absolutely awful state as a result and wait times were significant. It’s almost distressing watching the poor staff try and cope. One them even told me her shift finished an hour ago and she was staying to help the team out. I was half tempted to start clearing tables myself at one point.
