the garden vauxhall

The Garden Vauxhall - Lambeth

Rating: 3.8 /5
Alissa Fox What a fantastic beer garden! So many restaurants to choose from which makes it enjoyable for all and then you all come together with your trays and eat at your table. The food was great, as were the desserts. We went for an early dinner, but I would imagine this place would be a great place to hang out in the evening, too.

Ganzo Kitchen - Lambeth

Rating: 4.7 /5
Robin Nakamoto Just discovered Ganzo Kitchen inside the High Street Kensington food court and I’m honestly annoyed I didn’t find it sooner. I’ve had the crunchy salmon roll four times this week for dinner and that should tell you everything. Their sushi is genuinely top notch, nothing to envy to a high end luxury sushi restaurant. Super fresh, perfectly balanced, and consistently excellent. What really stands out is that the sushi is prepared fresh to order right in front of you, which makes a huge difference in quality and taste. Ganzo the owner is great, very friendly and welcoming, the place is clean, and you can really tell there’s care and pride behind the food. Absolute hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Diamond 77 What a lovely restaurant serving delicious and tasty food. Good value sharing cocktails and a good range of desserts! Nice and friendly welcome from our waiter as well who was helpful. Slight, tiny moan was that the food took about 30 mins to arrive but it was worth the wait and the cocktails helped the time go by !! Clean toilets and super Caribbean decor ! Very easy to get to a five minute from Vauxhall Station. Highly recommended and Ill definitely be going again!!

INYUN - Hounslow

Rating: 4.8 /5
W Z I’ve been fortunate to sample fried chicken around the world and London, and quite frankly Inyun’s light crispy batter is unlike any fried chicken I’ve tried. Truly phenomenal. Especially with the soy garlic sauce! Staff is also super friendly, welcoming, and took my allergies seriously which gave me good reassurance. Definitely coming back with friends and family

Kategna Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar - Lambeth

Rating: 4.9 /5
Hazi Mistry First discovered Ethiopian food on a trip to Glasgow and loved it and found this resteraunt near my sons place in Clapham. Food did not disappoint, we had a sharing platter for 3 and drinks ( we dont drink much) came to £60. The food was amazing ( see picture) the fermented bread has a tangy taste (sourdough) and the platter came with a chicken and lamb dish complimented by lentil dishes...all excellent. They have Guiness on draught and also sell an Ethiopian beer which was a nice tipple. Great experience overall but would say the place is looking a little tired and could do with a refurb.
galata pera

Galata Pera - Hounslow

Rating: 4.7 /5
Trifendy Sani I visited Galata Pera in Brentford (near Kew Bridge) as a Malaysian traveler looking for a good meal — and it turned out to be an amazing surprise. I ordered the lamb rib BBQ, and it was simply outstanding. The grilling technique was world-class — beautifully charred on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with a perfect smoky aroma that shows true mastery of the grill. Every bite was full of flavour and care. This isn’t anything like Malaysian food — it’s completely different — but that’s what made it so good. The flavours were pure Mediterranean, bold yet balanced, and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The restaurant had a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Everything from the service to the presentation showed pride and passion for good food. Galata Pera is a must-visit in the Brentford / Kew Bridge area for anyone who loves expertly grilled meat and great hospitality. A five-star experience — I’ll definitely come back again!
