4 /5 Jonny Wanq: Very enjoyable. Dining room is comfortable and relaxing. Service was excellent, extremely professional as youd expect but also warm and personal. The food was mainly delightful and generous servings. The wine list is unashamedly very French, which I understand but less choice if you want something else. Also single gin and tonic £26, of course when you come for a meal of this quality you expect the bill to be punchy but this feels like a pretty crazy mark up. The menu is a bit funny too, as well as the standard supplements (which add up to more than the cost of the standard menu) there was a secondary black truffle supplement menu so you could effectively swap out pretty much the entire menu. Maybe if you were coming here every day for a week, this would be welcome, less so for first time guests. Small gripes really though, if you appreciate fine dining at its finest, this is a must.

5 /5 Y Y: We visited this three-Michelin-star restaurant in London as a party of two and both chose the seven-course tasting menu. Overall, the experience was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. The standout dishes were undoubtedly the crab and the lobster. They were exceptional and, without exaggeration, the best seafood dishes I have had at any Michelin-starred restaurant in London. The flavours were clean, refined, and perfectly executed, allowing the quality of the seafood to truly shine. My friend opted for the additional supplements of caviar and wagyu beef. The caviar paired beautifully with langoustine, creating a harmonious and luxurious combination, and was very well executed. The wagyu was also of high quality and very satisfying; however, the portion was quite generous. For some diners, especially women, it may be difficult to finish. A smaller portion at a reduced supplement price would make this option more balanced and appealing. Desserts, in comparison, were slightly underwhelming. The signature baba requires an additional charge and is served in a fairly large portion. While the cream was beautifully made and technically excellent, the overall flavour of the dessert was not particularly distinctive or memorable. Despite this, the meal as a whole was outstanding, with particularly strong savoury courses and impeccable execution throughout. The tasting menu was £225, and with some supplement courses, one drink per person and service charge, it was around $450 per person.

5 /5 Jenny Fisher: We did the 7 course tasting menu. It was delicious! We did a couple of the switches and upgraded to the truffle pasta and wagyu. We’ve done several Michelin restaurants and this is one of the best we’ve done! Highly recommend. For reference, after upgrades and drinks we spent close to £1000 for 2 people.

5 /5 Taylor Rodriguez: This was my husband’s and my first Michelin-starred dining experience, and I suspect it will set a standard few meals could ever surpass. From the moment we arrived at The Connaught to our departure, the service was impeccable and deeply thoughtful. The staff curated an experience that felt both fully immersive and genuinely personal, ensuring lasting memories were created throughout the evening. In celebration of my birthday, I was especially touched by the many gracious gestures, from a Polaroid and handwritten card to take home, to several delightful surprises from the chef, including a dessert bearing a personalized birthday message. The attention to detail and generosity of spirit were extraordinary. I left utterly delighted and cannot recommend Hélène Darroze at The Connaught highly enough.

3 /5 Paul K: Amazing food and service overall. The staff were professional and attentive, and we would definitely come back again. The only downside was the wine pairing. We usually enjoy wine pairings, but in this case the wines didn’t seem to match the dishes well, and there was little sense of synergy or complementarity with the food. That was the only disappointing aspect of the experience. I would recommend enjoying the food without the wine pairing.
