Dollar Reviews The best vegetarian lunch I’ve had. It’s so filling, tasty and healthy, plus only £10 which is good for London. I had the falafel container with aubergine. It comes with a pita on the side. I didn’t need dinner that day.

John Downs Dinner for two on a quiet Thursday night. Very good food..the sole exceptional, the cottage pie delicious. The menu had a good mix of interesting dishes..."British" cuisine..in a very good way. Drinks reasonably priced for central London. Very close to Cannon Street station but tucked away off the main road, and below ground. Quirky decor that I found very appealing. Attentive service from staff who know their dishes. Note...not open at weekends...this is in the commercial part of town! Highly recommended for couples, small groups and business meetings (they seemed to have a projector screen discreetly concealed...so maybe good for small group lunchtime meetings).

L Barrett Walk-in turkey Christmas dinner and ginger no-jito, all enjoyed in a secluded spot away from more raucous party-goers. Best turkey I have ever had. Delicious vegetables and Yorkshire pud. Friendly and kind staff.

Desiree Jagt Lovely place. A very big wine card. I just went for a tea and a delicious apple crumble after a long walk. But the venue was so nice. Also nice service.

Robin Boon This place was a hidden gem my wife and I stumbled across. When you walk in it doesnt look like much, but once you are guided to the basement where the seating area is, the restaurant transforms into a great ambient space. The food was delicious and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Our server was Salman. He answered all our questions about the menu and took good care of us. Overall we loved this restaurant and found a new place to come to everytime we visit London.

Jessie Zhang Wow so good! I usually don’t have high hope for food in London. I’m so glad I found this place. Atmosphere is so soothing, warm and welcoming! Food is so good I ordered two fish dish, salmon and octopus. I will come again if I visit. Thank you for feeding me!
