5 /5 Naveen Buddhika Sarangu Hewage: I had dinner at the Kotthu restaurant in Rayners Lane, Harrow, and it was a wonderful experience. I ordered kotthu and biryani, and both dishes were very tasty and full of flavour. Pranesh served us, and he was a very nice and polite young man. His service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. He made our dining experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant for delicious food and great customer service. I will definitely visit again!

2 /5 Sivakumar Venugopal: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2 stars) I ordered two dishes from Kothu – a chicken biryani and a mutton kothu roti – both requested as mild. The chicken biryani was okay, I would rate it around 3 out of 5 stars. The flavours were decent, but the fried chicken pieces were soggy and could have been much crisper. The raita also had room for improvement. The kothu roti, however, was a real disappointment. It was extremely spicy, to the point of being inedible, despite being ordered mild. I understand that the base curry used for kothu may already be pre-prepared, but that makes it even more important to adjust for spice levels when a customer requests it. Sadly, this wasn’t done. When Kothu first opened, the quality and consistency were much higher. Recently, it feels like standards have slipped. South Indian and Sri Lankan food is all about balance and careful use of spices – keeping this consistent is key. I hope the chefs take this feedback on board and work on bringing the food back to the standard it once had. It’s a restaurant with great potential, but at present it falls short.

5 /5 rashanjali hansika samaranayake: Authentic Sri Lankan food and amazing service! We came here for kottu and rice, and everything was delicious, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. We also tried the watalappan for dessert, which was rich, creamy, and authentic. A big thank you to Shashi (our server) and Krish (the chef) for being so friendly and helpful. Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for real Sri Lankan food in Harrow.

5 /5 Dr Sylvia: Highly recommend a visit, lovely interior and service by Prathesh. The food was fresh and incredibly tasty, we had a range of starters, rice, kothu, dessert and drinks and could not fault any of the dishes. Will definitely be visiting again!
