Nakhon Thai Kitchen - (Near Brent, South East)

1 /5 Dylan Thomas: My partner and I have used their delivery service on many occasions and enjoyed big servings enough for two people with a little to spare. Tonight we ordered Jungle Chicken curry, King prawn spicy garlic chilli basil and Dim Sum, to be honest it wouldnt fill our kitten. Half filled small plastic tubs, extra runny..like a soup, Jungle Chicken curry and salty ..did I mention extra runny. We took pictures as we were so surprised at the quality having enjoyed amazing food, great quality and overflowing containers in the past. I decided to call the lady, who didnt accept my complaint, she didnt accept any issue with the food quality and the size even though photos were sent and half ignored. She said they always measure their food to the same size .. definitely not true on this occasion as we have ordered from here many times before. My partner and I are extremely disappointed with the reaction from the staff member who took the call and basically fobbed us off .. we are voting with our pocket and taste buds and will not order again. BTW Huge red flag ..2 stars for their food hygiene rating (Jan 2024), other posts have mentioned this too and only noticed while writing this review. Very disappointing.

1 /5 Arshi Shahjahan: This doesn’t even deserve one star. The experience and service was absolutely horrific and put us in terrible stress , what should have been a lovely warming family meal. On a separate issue we had contacted the restaurant after reaching home , explaining our situation we had a hospital appointment and we were starving and we were excited to get home only to see that it couldn’t even feed one person because the portion size was ridiculously small . There was not enough curry with the rice , there was barely any vegetables and in defence she claims we hadn’t asked for vegetables. The price is extortionate for this small kiddy size. The woman who took our order is the same person who picked up our call for feedback and she was extremely rude. The woman ends the call stating that we were difficult from the beginning. Which is highly inaccurate. The first time we called was to enquire about the pricing as it was different from the pricing on the Google menu. She said that was from 3 years ago and so the price is different and we told her to update it , she was in full knowledge of this. As of now it still has not been removed. This is not authentic Thai! We were very much misunderstood and met with extreme rudeness, we simply called to give our feedback and they cannot take feedback very well at all! There was no apology to rectify the situation . We called back multiple times after we were cut off to just have our feedback heard. In the end we regret having contact with this restaurant. It is clear to see based on these unfortunately missed reviews and our complaints today , that there has been no effort to take into consideration customer feedback or to improve their poor service. And the woman who I had seen in person to pick up my order had a poor demeanour

5 /5 Flavia Kawai: Small family own restaurant with authentic delicious food. Great value for money as extra tasty and good portions. Vegetarian options available. The restaurant is very clean and staff are lovely!

2 /5 Emma G: Sorry to say we just had a very disappointing first experience ordering from here. Vegetable tempura greasy and stodgy. Tom yum soup was somewhat bland, with just chilli taste, no depth of flavour. Wonton soup was better. Soya noodles with vegetables was just noodles covered in a brown pretty tasteless sauce, very few vegetables, dry pieces of tofu. Green curry was passable but not the tastiest. It took almost 2 hours to arrive on Uber Eats, not the 50 mins advertised - not directly the restaurants fault (although they arent on any other app), but nothing at all to apologise for the huge delay. At a cost of over £50, felt like bad value. Would not recommend, and will not go back. (Didnt visit so atmosphere just rated in the middle).
