Olivo - (Near Hampshire, South East)

5 /5 Srija Moulik: We chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and honestly we had the most wonderful time at Olivo. The interiors had that old world Italian rustic charm, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable, Hamed was very polite and attended us from beginning to end very graciously. I have been to most of the Italian eateries in Guildford, and they have not lived up to their hype, but this one pleasantly surprised me. Cant wait to go back there.

5 /5 Anthony: We had a fantastic evening at Olivo in Guildford. The service was outstanding from start to finish, especially thanks to Nagi, who was friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations throughout the night. We started with the Antipasto, which was beautifully presented and full of fresh, authentic flavours. For the main course, the steaks (fillet and sirloin) were perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. To finish, the tiramisu was the ideal ending to the meal: light, creamy, and full of rich coffee flavour. Nagi also recommended a bottle of Primitivo red wine, which paired wonderfully with the steak and tied everything together. Overall, an exceptional dining experience—great food, warm atmosphere, and superb service. Highly recommend!

3 /5 Luke Gray: Service was very slow. Was not asked for a drinks order before ordering food. Mixed seafood platter was hit and miss as the squid rings were over cooked. Course took over half an hour to arrive with no warning. Main was well presented. Duck pasta was fresh and delicate but the cherry sauce was far too sweet. The monkfish my friend ordered was great but when we asked about side dishes we were told none were needed. It only came with samphire! The cheesecake saved the day. Very nice and came quickly as already prepared. Very light, delicate and less sweet than my main.
