The Anglers, Teddington - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Andrew Miller: I rented one of their rooms for a small function over the holiday season with the buffet option. All of the negotiating was done over email and their online reservation system. Turning up for the first time on the day of the occasion, I was happily greeted with a clean area, setup well to accommodate my party. The buffet food was good and the service, attentive. All my guests enjoyed their time there. I definitely recommend the place for this type of activity.

2 /5 Ed Morris: £17 for the smallest portion of pasta you’ve ever seen. Didn’t even look at us when he picked our empty plates up 5 minutes later let alone ask us if we enjoyed our meal. When you factor in a drink each it’s close to £50 for a snack.

5 /5 Andrew Cartwright: We visited on a thursday when we was in the area, initially popping in for a quick drink... we stayed for lunch... then for a few more drinks! The outside area is massive for a pub, with seats under cover, in open, near the river, in booths - all sorts! There was also seating inside, and the pub decor was also quite nice. The kids managed to have a game of table tennis, as well as a kids meal from the menu. I think it would be fair to say that food and drinks were a little more on the expensive side than some of other places we had been to but we still had a great time / experience here at the Anglers. Worth saying that there is also a lot of film history here as Teddington studios was just round the corner and this pub was a favourite for some of the stars... a few bits round the pub remind you of this!
