2 /5 Alex Brand: Extremely disappointed that such a nice hotel is attached to such a let down of a pub. Bar staff are extremely nice whoever the kitchen team is hopeless and the management are ready to defend that. Payed £29 for a Medium Rare steak that arrived grey. At best the bottom half was well done and the top was medium well - clearly forgotten about on the grill. Nice FoH staff provided me with a manager who was very confrontational. Manager bought out the chef who tried to defend his pathetic attempt at a steak by saying if I wanted it rarer I shouldve asked for rare. Refusal to do anything about the mistake until I asked that my missus got a coke for her the unnecessary aggression on our nice evening out.
Live music from 7 was a main reason for us going, we where told it would start eventually but left at 9 with the same dry and empty atmosphere we arrived in without live entertainment.
Good for a couple of drinks but the food was a let down. Mistakes happen but when theyre defended by confrontational management and BoH it makes for an unenjoyable evening full of let downs and over priced food.
4 /5 Georgios Adamakos: Nice pub next to the hotel. Good selection of beers and good prices. The music was too loud even though it wasnt that busy. Some of the furniture need replacing but in general I liked the atmosphere
1 /5 Annette Scott: This iconic pub has lost its charm .
They really havent got a clue ! Waiting staff cant read or understand the menus .All our meals were bought out separately and they forgot one of the meals. No salt n pepper on the table missing basic table etiquette!
Was told by said waiter it takes time to cook a basic steak and ale pie ... absolutely bunch of jokers .
Shall never return ..
5 /5 dininginlondon: Beautiful pub, which is also part of the hotel.
We had the opportunity to try the 3 course dinner.
My husband took advantage of the Valentines Menu, and it was simply delicious.
Surf and turfs should be on the permanent menu because the taste and visual appearance of the dish were at the highest level.
We ordered a bottle of wine with the dishes, which was a nice accompaniment to the dishes.
I highly recommend the pub

4 /5 Dai Tree: The Crown pub occupies a large ornate Victorian terracotta building on Cricklewoods main street. A selection of keg beers but no cask ales on offer as far as I could see. Clean and tidy. There is also a restaurant here. A bit of a quiet day so a bit soulless for a large enterprise. Beer tasted good.
Flavio Mastroianni This vegan café is a true gem, offering fresh, handmade vegan dishes without any artificial ingredients. The food is flavorful, healthy, and reasonably priced. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, creating a cozy spot for a tasty, plant-based meal. Perfect for anyone seeking wholesome, affordable vegan food with a personal touch.
Chantel Alexander Oh my god! My only regret I didn’t buy 3 extra burgers for my self!! It is absolutely delicious! Not just your average burger! I will definitely be back and be buying double the order.
And the fries !! I don’t know what they season it with but it is gorgeous.
Very nice friendly service! And the chilli sauce ! THE CHILLI SAUCE!! IS OUT THE WORD !! I’m so glad we have this new spot on the block! So worth it.
Danielle Ferreira Beckner Amazing vegetarian gluten free meal. £44. for 4 people. We were all stuffed and happy, even the teenage boy! Super nice people and great service. If you haven’t had Ethiopian food, you must give it a try at The Choice.
Robert Hunt Came for happy hour pizzas. Food was exceptional and for the value as well. 2 people, a pizza, a pint, a glass of wine, an espresso each and croquettes to share came to less than £50! Couldn’t fault the service either.
Lovely little place that you could very easily walk past.
Toby Trickett Sanzio is a place to go if you want to feel welcome, enjoy an amazing atmosphere, and eat delicious food.
I cannot recommend the Croquettes with Truffle sauce enough, alongside all the other wonderful dishes there is to indulge in. You cannot go wrong with the zucchini fries, arancini, Pasta de Fungi e Pollo, and look out for the specials aswell. We tried the gnocchi on Specials and it was superb.
You’ll find yourselves wanted to come back again and again just to try everything there is to offer on the menu. Staff are incredibly friendly and dietary requirements are happily catered for.
