The Woods - (Near , South East)

1 /5 Alana A: I have been coming to The woods for a fair few years now. I have never had any issues before, in-fact, I raved about this place and recommended it to many family and friends in the past. (The mozzarella bites were epic). My most recent visit brings me on to this low review. The food was undercooked, the service was poor and the management didn’t seem to know what they were doing. This one bad experience made me realise that it’s not what it used to be. Not long after this visit, I then notice that this restaurant was awarded 1 star by the food standards agency in October 2025… A miracle would have to happen if order for me to visit again. Such a shame

5 /5 Brett Clarke: Visited The Woods restaurant on Saturday afternoon for lunch, and as always, the food was amazing. Freshly prepared by some quality chefs, and the portions were plentiful. All served in rustic metal camp style plates and bowls, perfectly fitting to the decor of the restaurant, which I was told by Ava, our waitress, has recently had a light refurb. The restaurant is kitted out with chunky wooden tables, not overly cluttered together and the walls are adorned with vinyl album covers, vintage memorabilia and exposed lights over the bar, all lending themselves to a perfectly simplistic decor, that makes a huge statement. If you havent already, get yourself down to The Woods burger restaurant.

1 /5 Ricardo De Sousa: Been going here for a while, honestly been good up until my last order, I ordered 14 bbq wings and some fries for me and my partner. The wings were not cooked at all, I can’t even just say they were raw, they were practically still clucking when they came in that box. They were raw and bloody all the way through. I ate a wing without looking aswell, unsure if it was as undercooked as all the rest of them but I guess I’ll have to see in the morning.

5 /5 Sal: Visited last week after not coming for a while, the place was clean and stylish, food was incredible and came out quickly as always. The service was attentive and perfection and the menu is very helpful on allergiesand intolerances. I had the dirty birdy on a waffle and it was a pleasantly filling portion, always love supporting small businesses and couldnt recommend the Woods enough. ❤️
