Makariou Chrysanthos George (Chris) We had an excellent experience at this location! Prices are on point! Service was amazing! It was only a few members of staff but they were managing the whole place amazingly! Extremely kind! Food? Honestly, everything tastes so good! I highly recommend you visit, make sure you book in advance!

Emma Maloney We had our wedding at Victoria Stakes and they absolutely smashed the day!! We hired out the whole pub as we wanted a real pub feel. The staff went above and beyond to help us create the day we wanted. The food was amazing all our guests commented on the steak. The bar staff were amazing and could handle the amount of baby Guinnesss that were ordered on the night and thats no mean feat! If youre planning a pub wedding wed highly recommend Victoria Stakes. K Came here on a Saturday for afternoon tea for two. We were warmly greeted by Kante who hosted us for the evening and whose hospitality was 5*. The afternoon tea spread was good, wasn’t overly excited with the options; dessert and sandwich provided was mid & there wasn’t a lot of savoury options. The dessert was very rich and would have been nice to have had some macaroons as it goes nice with afternoon tea usually.

Zara Ansari Had a lovely stay at Old Thorns Hotel Resort and Spa for an early Valentine’s celebration with my husband and daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area—it was relaxing and well-maintained. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to experience the jacuzzi and steam room as we had spa treatments booked and were short on time, but they looked fantastic and we’d love to try them next time. The staff were very attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Sophia, who went out of her way to be helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable. She’s doing a wonderful job and is a real credit to the team. Overall, a lovely experience and we would definitely return.

Amazon Rainforest Pleasant cosy Nandos. Good transport links re busses. Can get quite busy. My colleague encountered a long queue at the counter when she went to order, however alternatives for inhouse restaurant ordering. Good customer services.
