Canvas Restaurant Tunbridge Wells - (Near Kent, london)

Cat Elms My daughter got married yesterday at this beautiful Little place nestled in the middle of Tonbridge Wells. Firstly due to a major issue with the water in the area we weren’t actually sure if the wedding would go ahead, but the fantastic staff pulled out all the stops and made their day so special and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing as well as the staff just a fantastic venue for a wedding. I would thoroughly recommend this little gem! I will definitely be returning in the future for a nice meal!!

Anthony T I arrived at this restaurant without a reservation and on a busy evening, but before the rush. I was seated quickly, and was able to enjoy a variety of Asian fusion dishes. Having lived in Hong Kong for a while, the atmosphere bought back memories along with catching the odd word of Cantonese. The food was excellent. The variety was good, and the speed of service was prompt. Given how busy this place is with take out orders I was impressed by how the manager (possibly owner) runs such a tight ship. Thank you for a lovely meal.

peter bannon My wife brought me here as a surprise on Thursday, to be honest I didn’t know this place was open. All I can say, what a fantastic place to go to for great food and beer, wine and cocktails. The burger was absolutely fantastic along with the dirty fries. And then decided to try the chicken wings, and again not disappointed. Good selection of beers and Guinness in tap. The wine was good also. The staff were very friendly and nice. We will definitely come again soon. Thankyou

Emily Ip A cozy indie cafe serving good coffee and food. Nice menu of light lunches and you can tell they really do good cooking and presentation of dishes. Prices are nice too compared to restaurants in Pantiles.

SUSAN BELCHER Today 11th Feb 2026 Zest resturant after the funeral of my Husband, laid on a splendid spread for 20 people, waited on us all kept the food coming all afternoon as well as making sure we were topped up with tea and coffee other drinks being available at the counter.I would recomend them to all. John Burdis We were looking for a place to grab a bite and saw this was top rated on Google, so popped inside. Luckily for us they could just squeeze us in and I have to say, we are both grateful for that, as this was an amazing find! First off, the staff were a delight and seeing as the joint owner is Mexican and hes one of the chefs as well. You can tell that his heart is in the place. In total, there were two Mexicans in the kitchen and by God it shows. When people talk about a taste explosion in your mouth, this is it! For a start, the colours are so vivid, its like a piece of art on your plate and once you take one mouthful, BOOM! That explosion happens. We had Chicken taquitos, Prawn, Birria, Pulled Pork, Chicken Guajillo and Steak Tacos. Plus a couple of specials and WOW! The only regret is that we dont live closer but we will return and with friends and next time we will book, as I would not be happy if I missed out on the food.
