4 /5 Tech Zilla: I visited this restaurant for lunch with my family, I have been here a number of times and usually just as it is opening for lunch. It slowly becomes busier during service and by the time I leave it is a third full. The restaurant front is a little dated and needs updating but nothing major, it is in a small parade of shops across the road from Wickes.
You can park on the side road or the Wicked car park but for a limited time. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating and enough space so you don’t feel closed in.
The food is Indian cuisine and mainly in the Punjabi style, the fish pakoras and delicious by the way! Portions are large and food is usually very tasty, on one occasion the food didn’t taste as good as previous visits which I assume was because there was a different cook covering service.
The food overall is lovely but the price could be a couple of pounds less in my opinion. I often end up having to take home half my meal lol, the lamb jalfrezi is excellent and very very spicy, naans, paratha, biryani’s and saag are some of my favourites.
The toilets are clean but not big, there is a disabled toilet for anyone wondering. The service is good and friendly but sometimes i feel that they could use one more member of staff to take the pressure off.
