Tay Fun I have been diving at this restaurant for years. Yes, the prices seem to have gone up but it is same pretty much everywhere in London. Their portions are quite reasonable and the food is quite delicious. Definitely cheaper than the equivalent restaurants nearby. The staff are quite nice but I recommend not going there on the days when there is West Ham game as it tends to get quite busy.

Polly Killingley I honestly don’t write reviews often, but Calong in Stoke Newington absolutely deserves one. From the moment we walked in, the service was *exceptional*. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about the food, the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. Every recommendation was spot on, and they struck that perfect balance of being attentive without ever hovering. The food itself was incredible. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You can tell there’s real care and creativity behind the menu. What really stood out though was the atmosphere the team created. Relaxed, welcoming and quietly confident. It felt like the restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine but still with a very personal touch. It’s rare to find somewhere where both the food and the service are genuinely five-star, but Calong absolutely nails it. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London in my life. Already looking forward to coming back.

Mark Taylor We had an early Sunday lunch at The Swan, and have been a couple of times before. We were served by Ethan, who was appropriately helpful. The food was delivered quickly and fab - both roasts and kids food, the latter of which was really reasonably priced. Lovely place to boot. Top marks all round!
