5 /5 Sage Telfer: If I ever go to heaven, this will be the food waiting for me past the pearly gates. The most delicious tiger prawn ceviche, a decadent onion tartatin and the single best dessert Ive ever tried the sea buckthorn tart!. The service from Phoebe was so lovely and friendly as well, with a brilliant orange wine suggestion. Cannot wait to visit again

5 /5 Harris Tong: Ive just been to food orgasmic heaven and back. The place looks small, cosy and unassuming from the outside, but once the food arrives you realise youre in the hands of people who really care. The chalkboard menu tells you everything you need to know: seasonal, fresh, and clearly changing regularly. Every dish was bold, creative and well thought through. The flavour and texture combinations were unlike anything else. Hats off to the chefs of this kitchen. Highlights for us: the ox tongue on a Marmite crumpet (outrageous), the skate wing with warm tartare (Though Id happily skip the fried scampi and oyster next time—they were a bit oily and not as fresh as the rest.), the venison and black pudding Scotch egg, and the oysters and grilled was unique experience. If I had more room, I’d have ordered the entire menu. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Some of the best food Ive ever had

5 /5 Trudy Ward: The food was exceptional. Everything we ate was full of flavour infact explosions of flavours, beautifully presented and had the wow factor! Service was great too. The music was slightly too loud on the day we went and the chairs could be slightly more comfortable. Also when on a table for two, with the plates of food system, there isnt enough room on the table- felt a bit cramped.

5 /5 Sam Wilson-Powell: My first visit to Dill on a recommendation and I wasn’t disappointed. Treated my 82 year old dad to a birthday lunch and it was perfect. Delicious fish sharing board with seaweed mayo and freshly grilled bread, fabulous house white and incredible puddings! Really inventive - and very generous portions! Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend. Best meal I’ve ever had in Lewes. A total gem.
