3 /5 Dikran N.: I really wanted to like this place but the food looks better than it tastes. While the duck breast my daughter ordered tasted very good, the beef fillet I ordered (rare) needed sawing to cut through… you should be able to slice through a rare fillet like butter. Waitress was lovely.

We shared starters, main course and desserts and everything was top notch, especially the starters which were Jerusalem artichokes, red mullet ceviche and beef carpaccio. The atmosphere was cosy and rustic while service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has an open kitchen and it was interesting to see the chefs work. I highly recommend this place. It is a must if you are looking for European cuisine in Islington. It is worth travelling for as well.

5 /5 Jorga Rumsby: My husband and I had our wedding reception at salut, after visiting together a few times we knew this would be the perfect place for us to celebrate. A small intimate restaurant with an open kitchen and the most fantastic staff. We really had the best evening of our lives with our friends and family and that is all down to you. The food was as usual delicious, all of our guests loved their meal. Martin was a pleasure to speak with many times before our day, he made sure everything was perfect even with my difficult requests! The paired wine was stunning. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to celebrate. Thank you to all of you for making our night so utterly special. We can’t wait to come back soon and for every anniversary to come. We highly recommend salut!
