The Folly - (Near City of London, South East)

5 /5 shittoshi inu: One of the most beautiful venue in London. Great atmosphere, outstanding cure of details. My wife was amazed by the Ladies Toilets and the chocolate treats. Superb service, good food. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Sonia Fanelli: The Folly is a BEAUTIFUL place. I have been there for a coffee only but will definitely go back for a full meal. The interior design is just stunning and the atmosphere very cosy. And it’s very big, they have a lot of tables and space. Highly recommended!

4 /5 Damon Armstrong: Very nice atmosphere, had a super fun time with friends. However I will have to say the service was a bit slow even when the restaurant was near empty. I understand that on the 2nd January people may be tired but it did take 2 full hours to get through 2 courses. The only slow thing about the service was the ordering process though but the chefs were rapid at least so the wait was shortened a bit but it was still quite long altogether. The food was adequately priced for some meals, however many of the portions in clouding the roast salmon were rather small and it left me slightly hungry. Most portions were okay but even so mine was essentially a childs meal which was a bit odd. The taste was marvellous especially the brownie but I cant rate it higher than a 4 because of the portions. Would recommend but take into account the portions sizes. You may be able to see the sizes before ordering in the open kitchen at the back. Lavatory was nice and well kept.

4 /5 Val K: Pleasant restaurant in a very convenient location. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, but the service was not very good. The restaurant wasnt busy on the evening we visited, so diners were well spread. This created a relaxing atmosphere, but it was hard to get the attention of staff because they always seemed to be far away or didnt pay much attention.

4 /5 Gib: Good food and friendly service, but expensive (although being downtown London, what isnt). I had the SIRLOIN STEAK TACOS which were fine, and the beer was cold. The menu was quite large and since there were 5 of us, everyone found something to their liking.
