4 /5 Crystal Nancy: Not bad, would come again.. We visited for the carvery and had mixed feelings. The food was served very hot, especially as we were seated right next to the carvery, which made it uncomfortably warm. The vegetables and potatoes were nice, but the meat was quite slimy and the Yorkshire puddings were unfortunately stale. On a positive note, the decor was lovely and festive, creating a nice atmosphere. A special mention to Dan on the carvery – he was a lovely man and very friendly. We finished with dessert, and the apple crumble was very yummy and served super quickly, which was a great end to the meal.

5 /5 Jenita Dyer: We had the most enjoyable afternoon here while on holiday. The food, atmosphere and weather really enhanced this experience. However, I think the best part was chatting with one of the locals sitting outside at a table close to us who gave us the best chuckles. He had visited our island home, Bermuda so it was nice to chat about that, life, family and politics. We both had our young adult daughters so it was a delight to chat about their new careers. The canal right outside of the pub was also great. I’m sure we’ll be back here when we come back.

5 /5 Nicky Masters: Having visited another of your chain last month, we decided to visit you for comparison. Our experience was pleasurable. The quality of the food was far superior to your nearest neighbour. Everything was well presented, looked fresh and tasted delicious. The server was happy, polite and friendly. As was the hostess who took our order. Well definitely be back
