5 /5 Wenn Er Tan: Lucky star has been my go-to takeaway for a year now and hasnt disappointed! The prices are reasonable for the generous portion sizes and the calibre of the chef. Hes always been really accommodating with special requests eg. to switch ingredients. Couldnt recommend the place more!
5 /5 Paris: Looks can be deceiving... From the outside Lucky Star looks like every other local Chinese takeaway, but the same cant be said for the food. If you order via phone community can be tedious at times, but its well worth it. Lucky Star is my Go To whenever I have a craving for Chinese - They have yet to disappoint. Would definitely recommend for those lazy Sunday evening takeouts.
5 /5 T Power: Hands down the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in a long time! Quick delivery, food was delicious and we got some little extras with our order such as prawn crackers and fortune cookies! We will definitely order from you guys again, thank you so much.
5 /5 James Wilson: this is the third time I am ordering from Lucky Star and each time was a spot on . lovely packaging and representation, tasty and fresh food as a local restaurant owner and a chef I loved it, highly recommended. thanks
4 /5 Sophie Marchant: I think this place has recently been overtaken by new management/owners. Theyve redone the inside, theres now space to sit, which is nice. The food I have tried so far has been tasty (I hadnt tried the food before) so I will continue to order from here. Currently 10% off if you collect
Ed Absolutely exceptional. The best takeaway in the area, and probably one of the best in London. Delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I visit here every 1-2 weeks and its always delicious food. As a vegetarian theres a wealth of options (which I am slowly working my way through trying).
Tim S I dont know what all the hate is about in some of these reviews - I ordered delivery from here and the food was great. It even came in an insulated bag so it stayed hot! Maybe those looking for Cantonese style food will be disappointed - this is Sichuan style. I had the jianbing ("Tianjin Crepe") and it was fine, but the pork noodles with tomato and egg were delicious.
