Ryan Swan-ODiamain Really lovely breakfast at The Fountain Inn on holiday, lovely seating outside, food tasted amazing and well cooked, really well priced. But above all I would like to thank the staff, who were really informative and gave recommendations on were to go around the island! I didnt grab any names, but pass on my regards to the two amazing staff members, female from Hounslow and the RNLI volunteer from up north! Definitely the most friendly and welcoming place in Cowes!

Lizzie Wildgoose We stayed here in Ryde for a 5-day break over Christmas. The food was lovely and the staff were fabulous especially Siobhan! In fact they were a fantastic team and very hardworking! This definitely added to the holiday! We had a very sociable time chatting to some lovely guests. Our large room was on the third floor facing the seafront and overlooking the hoverport which was interesting. Next door, Harrys Bar also belongs to the hotel and provides a small, sociable and cosy venue for a drink and a game of scrabble or dominoes if you fancied it. We had visited the hotel in September for a short break and hope to return soon.

Kate Avery We popped in today for lunch. Two adults, a baby and two dogs. The staff were welcoming, polite and very accommodating. The fire was on. Which was a very nice addition on a chilly day. For lunch we had the seafood chowder with a side of seasoned fries and Cajun chicken burger. My husband didn’t share his burger but the seafood chowder was absolutely delicious! Great portion sizes. Well seasoned with lots of fish and mussels. After an interesting crossing from the mainland this was a very welcome stop. So pleased we popped in and I would urge everyone to do the same! Very lovely experience. Unfortunately we didn’t need a room but if we ever need one this will be my first place to contact.

Jamie Williams We just visited for my birthday. I am not exaggerating when I say the pork dumplings were the best thing I have ever tasted. We gave a large tip deserving of the amazing food and outstanding service. Huge compliments to the chef and the whole team. Undoubtedly the best food on the island.

Kerry Lancaster The quality of the food exceeded expectations. Whilst others in our party had burgers and steaks, I had the pork bites starter with cheesy fries. Delicious. And excellent value for money. One of the burgers was not quite done as much as my husband liked it, but it was replaced quickly and he was very happy with it. We will definitely come again. The difficult thing will be ordering something different, as we loved what we had. Many thanks.
