Emma Maloney We had our wedding at Victoria Stakes and they absolutely smashed the day!! We hired out the whole pub as we wanted a real pub feel. The staff went above and beyond to help us create the day we wanted. The food was amazing all our guests commented on the steak. The bar staff were amazing and could handle the amount of baby Guinnesss that were ordered on the night and thats no mean feat! If youre planning a pub wedding wed highly recommend Victoria Stakes. Helen H Nice restaurant. Excellent, efficient service by all three staff, who always immediately noticed us when passing by through eye contact. Presentation, portion, freshness, and taste of the food worth the price at the airport/in London. I noticed the staff asked the table next to us if their baby was alright, having provided a baby chair to them. Very good experience overall!

Roni Hass We came after ice skating in the Battersea Christmas rink. The service was extremely attentive and nice. We took the eggs Benedict royal pancake and classic syrup and chocolate pancakes for dessert. The pancakes themselves were really good flavour and were a very good base for all the different toppings. I wouldve skipped the chocolate next time, the syrup by itself was very good. The coffee was good (a lighter roast but not too sour).

Alison Handley Great place to eat and drink. Good choice of meals and light bites/sandwiches. I had the beer battered fish which was delicious. It came with thick cut chips, peas and curry sauce but they were happy to switch the curry sauce for a very tasty gravy. You can view the brewery from a balcony next to the bar/restaurant. My husband said the beer was really good.

John Collins We stayed in one of the family rooms with our newborn baby and cocker spaniel over new year. The room was large, clean, warm, and well catered (including a decent coffee machine). The ensuite bathroom was also clean and had excellent water pressure - nice for warm baths! The service was excellent at all levels - including welcome, bar, restaurant, and catering. The food that we tried was also very good - gastropub in style, which was perfect for cold days. The access to the delightful Botany Bay beach is easy, safe, and close. Although the hotel was hosting a large event on new years eve, we didnt hear any noise from the event and slept well. My only comment would be that the TV is quite small (and struggled with connectivity), which made it hard to watch from the bed, so we relied on an iPad (which had good connectivity thanks to the decent WiFi).
