1 /5 Matt Bell: Ask used to be one of the better chains, but it definitely has fallen on hard times. The menu is tired and in need of spritzing up. The pasta dishes were bland, one chicken pesto dish having too much salt, and a beef ragu dish lacking any real flavour and being very watery. When the drinks are better than the food, that’s disappointing. Only came as we had Tesco vouchers, but would not rush back.

5 /5 Natalie Cook: We were served by a lovely lady bex. We have to say we eat our regularly and we found bed has been by far the best person we’ve been served by from many restaurants. She was so welcoming and checked on us regularly. She was fun and explained the mini to us well when we couldn’t decide. So nice to have a server that actually does the job spot on a credit to your restaurant.
