Kevin Coaker We were wowed by nearby Café Cecilia earlier this year, so were excited to try INIS for our anniversary dinner. For a dark autumn evening, Hackney Wick was surprisingly lively, and the team at INIS kindly found us a spot for a pre-dinner drink when we arrived 45 minutes early. First off, the three staff on duty were absolutely lovely - friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was fantastic, with the Irish influence shining through in all the right ways. I had the winter salad, while my wife’s duck starter was just as tempting. My John Dory main was sublime, and the wine list full of interesting options - we chose a lovely Vernaccia from Tuscany. We’re already keen to return to try the Sunday lunch once winter properly sets in.

Kul Bajar Incredible food and flavours , and very large place inside . I will definitely be back , the steak, croquettes and other tapas are very flavourful. Olivia is a very talented person , she makes you feel so welcome with her presence and smile.

Hint of Mayhem Dropped in for the first time in a while for a quick couple of pints. Lovely staff and a cracking atmosphere, the place was buzzing. Particularly enjoyed a bit of banter with the young chap Bradley. Cheeky and charismatic yet very polite and professional. I’ll be back.

Sonia Ross Where do I start? What a fantastic night we had at Maison last night. Such a beautiful old building with so much character. The food was spectacular-every course was delicious. Ben is such a talent in the kitchen and we enjoyed watching him prepare some of the dishes while having a glass of bubbles!! Lornette was a brilliant host; she is funny and entertaining and felt like an old friend by the end of the evening. We will definitely be back. Sonia, Graeme, Maddy & Oliver x

Cathy N We are regular customers. Great food, and lovely friendly staff. Kebab pizza and garlic bread, mixed kebab and a half pounder burger. They were all very much enjoyed.
