5 /5 Sarah Oren Brasky: Puchita was a lovely help after a long touristy morning, when I needed a reprieve for my hungry cranky kid. We left happy, satiated, and relaxed. I had the vegetarian Med Toast— delicious! Kids menu fish n chips was just right, too. Great little quiet find!!

4 /5 Lewis Graham: We were looking for a quick post-matinee meal before going home. It looked promising so we gave it a try. What we had was straightforward cafe food: I had a chicken burger and my companion had a falafel burger. It was cooked well, the salad was fresh and the drinks cold. Service was good and the atmosphere quiet and relaxed. The desserts looked good although we were too full to try them. All in all pretty good given the area. Pricing will seem a little stiff if youre from out of town but its on par for WC2.

2 /5 5h4k35p34r3: Ask for an itemised bill before you pay. I ordered mixed grill but was given chicken. We spent far more time in the restaurant than we could afford, as we were going to a show, waiting for them to get the order right. When the mixed grill arrived, it wasn’t a mixed grill, just chicken and kofta. They then applied a 12.5% service charge despite the service being so poor and didn’t provide a receipt. I didn’t notice until I got back to the hotel. A service charge is for good service in the opinion of the customer, not applied even when the service is hopeless. A credible restaurant would ask if you wanted to pay a service charge, not apply one when they know full well that their service was dreadful. Morally and professionally wrong.

5 /5 Claire: Highly recommended, reasonably priced bistro in the heart of theatre land. Very attentive service. Steak salad with chips recommended.

4 /5 Steve Webb: Called in early as I was passing by and needed something for breakfast, ended up with a cappuccino and bacon roll. The cappuccino was OK. Not bad, but not great either. But the bacon sandwich was excellent. Crispy bacon in a crusty bag and brown sauce was available too, keeping it within the laws of the realm. The guy serving was really friendly and attentive and even helped me move tables when I wanted to plug my phone in for a charge.
