Andy Stewart A great find, slightly tucked away in Marlborough. We arrived just as they opened and the staff couldnt do enough to look after us. A great menu, with well executed dishes. The staff seemed to bend over backwards to make sure we were looked after, from optimising our orders with a lunch time meal deal, and finding some sweets to top a milkshake with as the children in our party tried to order a seasonal Halloween shake, but the staff pulled it out of the bag and found some ghost sweets! We will be back and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to anyone to pop in for a fantastic burger, and great staff!

Jon R Tucked away in the charming village of Mildenhall, just outside Marlborough, The Horseshoe delivers a roast beef experience that’s nothing short of sublime. From the moment we walked in, the warm welcome and fresh, stylish decor set the tone for a perfect afternoon. The roast beef was the star of the show—tender, richly flavoured, and cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire puddings were golden and crisp, the roast potatoes beautifully seasoned with a satisfying crunch, and the vegetables? Surprisingly exceptional. Often overlooked, these were vibrant, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. And the gravy—oh, the gravy! Deeply savoury and clearly homemade, it tied everything together with finesse. Service was attentive and cheerful, even on a busy Sunday. If you’re craving a proper British roast with heart and flair, The Horseshoe is a must. Hats off to the team for creating a place that feels both elevated and welcoming. We’ll absolutely be back. PS chicken was good too.

Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the spices were balanced just right. What truly made the visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Sadek Ahmed. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His warm hospitality made us feel welcome and valued throughout the meal. Shivani Visited from London and was worth the trip. Friendly accommodating staff and quaint interior. The scones were by far the best alongside the soup of the day which was hearty and warm on a cold winters day. Cake slices looked yummy too but we were so full! WiFi was a bit sketchy and my jacket potato was a bit dry but overall a great experience
