Tania Its a really lovely spot with excellent service and a great atmosphere. It’s not the only place on the seafront, but good ones are hard to find here, and this one definitely stands out. Prices are very reasonable. I truly recommend it. There’s a summer terrace, and inside it’s cosy and beautiful. The staff are top-notch.

The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Service was efficient and relaxed in equal measure. The food was outstanding. Incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere captures exactly what you want from Whitstable: informal, coastal, authentic and full of character. We will absolutely be back!

Dan C We collected a take out on Christmas Eve and really glad we did. The food was ready promptly. The staff were really friendly, the restaurant had a lovely buzz. The food was excellent. We shared a mixed kebab starter, and had 2 beautiful curries with rice and naan. Couldnt fault a thing. The king prawns in the jalfrezi were delicious and the naga lamb had a great kick to it. Looking forward to our next one already!

Tia Fattal I will start with wow! Sometimes you stumble across a little diamond in the rough. Drift is that! I have been blessed with having the chance of eating in some amazing restaurants from the Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons to the Burj Khalifa. But these places are diamonds that the world can see. The drift is still hidden tucked away in a little sea side town. A little secret where its food does all the shining. A visit is a must, tuck yourself into this family run restaurant, and be prepared for the dishes to wow you. From the oysters to the backed cheesecake everything fresh and handled by the chef with grace and care. You will love it!
