2 /5 Nic: Lovely place but unfortunately it seems to be going downhill. The food was lower than average and the service was disappointing. We even had to send my son’s dish back because it wasn’t right. During the meal I had to get up several times to ask for things like salt, drinks and other items we had already ordered. It really shouldn’t be the customer’s job to chase basic service. It’s a real shame because we used to love coming here. Sadly this visit was a big disappointment both for the food and the service. I hope the standards improve again.

5 /5 Nettie Kensell: Lindsay is an outstanding waitress - friendly, attentive, and truly brilliant at what she does. The food is consistently very good, and we always love our visits to Esher. We just keep our fingers crossed that Lindsay is working whenever we go!

5 /5 Beige Contrast: We dropped in on a busy Saturday without a booking. Without any questions or hassle they seated us with our large puppy and treated him like royalty. Really special customer service you don’t see often.

5 /5 Emma Tregoning: We come here very often for breakfast and dinner and it’s very consistent and part of that consistency is Lindsay! She’s awesome! Always remembers what we like and always remembers my husbands Gluten intolerance. Excellent place. Would highly recommend!

5 /5 Chris Baker: Our regular dinner venue before going to a concert at Sandown Park. This time we chose from the two -course fixed menu, starting with the Boursin Romesco Salad, followed by Pan-Fried Sea Bass and Poulet au Bacon with an extra side of Petits Pois à la Française. Perfect location for Sandown, friendly and efficient service, and as usual, delicious food in a French style. A free glass of fizz each was a great bonus too! Recommended.
