Mae + Harvey - (Near Tower Hamlets, South East)

5 /5 Josh Bing: Great coffee shop! The cappuccino was delicious and the croissant was great. The food looks quite good as well but i did not order any. Nothing over the top but a great cafe with even better service.

We got here around 11 on a Saturday and luckily didnt have to wait long to be seated, but this place does get busy and there was a queue outside by the time we left. I can see why though! The menu is small but amazing. I got the garlic eggs with sourdough toast while my husband got the chicken sarnie. Pretty big portions and everything was delicious and tasted fresh. Later in the week on a WFH day we got 2 chicken sarnies to go, if Im back in the area Id come back here in a heartbeat!

5 /5 Rachel Morris: I had the most wonderful experience at Mae + Harvey. The food was absolutely unbelievable! fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The corn fritters with egg were cooked to perfection, full of texture and flavour, while the pancakes were on another level. They were light, fluffy, and topped with the most delicious berry compote, clotted cream and toasted hazelnuts. Every bite was a treat. The service was just as impressive as the food. The team were so friendly, warm, and attentive, creating such a welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Mae + Harvey is the kind of place that makes you want to linger, enjoy good company, and savour every dish. I’ll definitely be coming back! highly recommend

5 /5 Dani Kim: Mae + Harvey was one of the places that stayed with me the most during my time in East London. Even on the morning I left the city, I made a point to return for their chicken sandwich, which had become something of a personal favorite by then. The food is excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the people. There’s a quiet, genuine warmth in the way they move through the space kind, energetic, and thoughtfully present. Being there doesn’t feel like just visiting a café. It feels like stepping into something familiar, something cared for. It’s the kind of place you hope to come across again someday, and I truly hope I do.

5 /5 Anastasia Khalyavko: Lovely breakfasts! You’ve got to try the pancakes – they’re absolutely delicious, the kind you want to come back for again and again. The atmosphere is really charming, with nice people around and a beautifully done interior. All in all, a solid 10 out of 10.
