5 /5 Collette: We ordered again from the holy cow. What a takeaway. We ordered more this time for the family. It was the best Indian I have ever had. Spot on with flavour, quantity and service. Im eating it again for breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. I recommend the chicken pathia and the chicken Ceylon. Breads and rice out of this world!
1 /5 Jonathan Beeby: 1 x CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA ÂŁ8.95 1 x TANDOORI KING PRAWN MASALA ÂŁ10.95
To whom is at all interested,
Unbelievable disappointment, unbelievable, but it was, three prawns and six small pieces of chicken in these dishes, even after contacting your staff to find out why after paying the best part of ÂŁ20.00 for two main dishes I was presented with this, I was told this was correct!!!!
Not acceptable!!
1 /5 JonRo Perry: Third time ive ordered from here, first two times were amazing, tonight was appalling. Curries were soup with no meat, much smaller mixed starter, one poppadom as a paid for extra side and a cold soggy naan.
5 /5 Victoria Squire: I dont normally leave reviews unless I really feel I have something worthy to say! But we just had curry from here and I couldnt find fault with anything! Every bit of food we ordered was absolutely delicious and driver was very friendly. Took about 20 minutes longer than the 45 min estimate but we ordered at prime time on a Saturday and the food was worth the wait!
2 /5 Henry Cowling: I was a loyal customer and used to enjoy the food, think it was well priced and the staff were friendly and efficient deliveries. However, I had a couple of issues with my last order including raw batter on the pakora and a really not very tasty Daal. Rather than go straight to writing a review I was happy to speak to the restaurant directly and emailed them on the email displayed under the order. They never got back to me despite me chasing, so I never got any money off or explanation. A real shame as they had grown to be my favourite Indian but now I will have to look elsewhere
Ftse We struck it lucky and booked an alfresco table at the front of the restaurant (inside already fully booked). It turns out it was the Dickensian weekend event so were able to enjoy the parade and have our brunch. The food was simply divine and the coffee was worth having outside. Lovely experience. I think if we were able to book inside, we wouldnt be let down as the decor was eye catching. Would go again for sure.
richard tinsley First time visiting here. It was a Saturday night and quite busy.
Doesnt look great from the outside, but dont be put off!
An excellent restaurant, really lovely inside, great service. Most importantly the food was delicious.
Will be going back, for definite.
Many thanks for a lovely evening
Molotoval Despite being fully booked, they accommodated us in sitting outside. Service was good and knowledgable. We enjoyed a coffee, gin and delicious cheeseboard outside at a very reasonable price. We may book next time just so we don’t risk missing out. This place is a gem on the high street.
Sallie This place is a hidden gem! Stunning food, beautiful ambience, absolutely stellar staff.. Molly was an incredible waitress, attentive and personable, Romney you are lucky to have her she made our day perfect! Thank you all xx
