Reuben Puddephatt Fantastic Turkish dinner here! We had the sharing platter and the baba-g and very nice baklava. Food was easily as good as what I ate in Istanbul, cooked on an authentic Mangal grill. Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant and wel priced given the quality and also how generous the portions were. Would love to come back

Sophia I recently hosted a surprise baby shower at The Tooting Tavern, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were able to view the venue beforehand, and on the day we had over 30 guests, making full use of the lovely garden space. Rachel and Ally guided us through the booking process, which was seamless and stress-free. The food on the day was absolutely delicious, huge compliments to the chefs! Despite it being such a large booking, every dish arrived hot, on time, and perfectly prepared. They even catered to special requests, which our guests really appreciated. A special shoutout goes to Daine and Brian, who took such great care of us throughout the event. Even while our guests were busy playing games, they made sure we were well looked after right until the end of the evening. The cocktails were another highlight, so tasty and well-made. I will definitely be returning soon, both for the wonderful food and the warm, welcoming service. Thank you again to the whole team for helping us create such a memorable celebration!

Valeria Meleshko We went here with my friend without any expectations, and it turned out to be an amazing experience a perfect mix of dining and clubbing all in one place. The vibe and atmosphere are fantastic, creating a really lively and enjoyable mood throughout the evening. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Personally, I loved the prawns with sauce - they were definitely my top pick. The vegan and tuna sushi were also really fresh and tasty. Overall, it’s a great place for a fun night out, and I would definitely recommend visiting!

The London Guru Really enjoyed my lunch at Farmer J near St James’s Park. Great service from start to finish, super friendly staff. The food is excellent: plenty of healthy, nutritious options that actually taste good and feel fresh. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for central London quality. Great value overall. Only downside was the cleanliness in some areas. Tables were a bit cramped (typical for busy spots), but more noticeably the bathroom was dirty. Sink was overflowing/wet and needed attention. It felt a bit neglected compared to the otherwise solid experience. Still, the food and service make it worth a visit if you’re after wholesome, tasty meals in the area. I’ll definitely go back, just hope they tidy up the facilities a bit!

Jazz Violet Very lovely food and brilliant wine. The host/manager was a lovely gentleman and fun to talk to. I would recommend the mushroom truffle risotto, absolutely divine.

Jonathan Johnson I don’t normally want to dine at a hotel bar especially in a food forward city like London. But I was staying here and had a couple of very busy days and so ended up at the Caxton Bar for dinner two nights. First of all the staff in the bar are all friendly, accommodating and professional. And the food is excellent! Had the fish and chips one night and it was top notch. The salmon Caesar salad the next night. Both with martinis. Really enjoyed the experiences.
