The pricing displayed on the TV clearly showed prices for the bundle box only, yet the waitress insisted they only sell meal deals and she was extremely rude. When I pointed out the price display, she said the manager had told her it must be a meal deal. I explained that a meal deal should be optional, but she refused.
I then told her I would order through the app, where the regular box is clearly available on its own, and she would have to serve it to me. She told me to go ahead but again claimed the manager said it was meal-deal only. I asked to speak to the manager, who then said that during the Christmas period they only do meal deals. That was clearly untrue, as both the TV display and the app showed otherwise.
After challenging this, he finally said “no problem” and served me the regular box on its own. It’s very wrong to push customers into buying a meal deal. Upselling is fine, but forcing customers is not.
On top of that, the portion size was extremely small — literally four pieces of chicken.
