The Parlour - Westminster

Rating: 4.4 /5
Andrew Birrell We recently enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea at The Parlour. The menu featured a delightful selection of savory and sweet dishes, with several creative and unique twists that were particularly impressive. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured our tea was constantly replenished. I would highly recommend The Parlour for a special occasion or simply an indulgent treat.

The Ivy Northcote Road Brasserie -

Mags W I went here on the off chance for a late lunch on a Monday. The place was half full. We were welcomed by a waitress with a welcoming smile. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful interior modern but with a touch of tradition. It had such a lovely atmosphere. The seating areas were not too close together like some other establishments. The waitor who was serving us was very knowledgeable and intentive. He was so professional and well presented. They offered a deal on the menu for ÂŁ19 which you could get 2 choices. I opted for starters and main. While my friend chose mains and afters. I had the chicken skewers for starters which was succulent and flavoursome and the minute steak for mains, which is accompanied with chips cooked 3 ways. If you order the steak there is an additional fee of ÂŁ4.00. The steak was just how I like it and the chips were nice not dry as I thought they might be. My friend ordered the shepherds pie for her main and the sticky toffee pudding for afters. They both tasted great. We enjoyed our food. The drinks we ordered the bottle water. We would definitely recommend this place and I would be visiting again to try another dish.

Foodilicious MuslimMom Dishoom at Battersea is an absolute delight and a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The ambiance is warm, vibrant, and full of character, making the entire dining experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The food was exceptional. The biryani was beautifully aromatic, the pav bhaji rich and comforting, and the crispy bhindi perfectly seasoned and addictive. The daal makhani was creamy and full of depth, while the halwa puri was indulgent and nostalgic. A special mention to the kala khatta drink, refreshing, unique, and bursting with flavour. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. A memorable meal with incredible flavours and an atmosphere that keeps you wanting to come back for more. Highly recommended.

R. S. We ordered the lobster spaghetti, which was finished and prepared at the table. The presentation added to the experience without feeling theatrical. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the lobster fresh and well integrated into the sauce, with balanced seasoning. The tableside service was professional and precise. The overall atmosphere is classic London brasserie style with high standards in execution. A refined and reliable dining experience in St James’s.

Zuttah We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and couldn’t have chosen a better spot! From start to finish the service was so warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome. Every dish, from the mezze to the grilled mains, was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was relaxed yet lively. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Lebanese food and wonderful hospitality.
