5 /5 Foodilicious MuslimMom: Dishoom at Battersea is an absolute delight and a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian cuisine. The ambiance is warm, vibrant, and full of character, making the entire dining experience feel special from the moment you walk in. The food was exceptional. The biryani was beautifully aromatic, the pav bhaji rich and comforting, and the crispy bhindi perfectly seasoned and addictive. The daal makhani was creamy and full of depth, while the halwa puri was indulgent and nostalgic. A special mention to the kala khatta drink, refreshing, unique, and bursting with flavour. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. A memorable meal with incredible flavours and an atmosphere that keeps you wanting to come back for more. Highly recommended.

4 /5 In Depth: It was a very nice place to eat but the food wasn’t amazing I would say I have had much better food from a local good Indian restaurant. It has a good vibe but is very busy and feels like a lot of waiting staff are rushing around. Popadoms wasn’t really nice but the chicken curry was pretty good with nice chunks of meat. I wouldn’t rush back but I would go back if someone else wanted to go. I asked about the keyring and the waitress never came back lol. Oh well but as I said not bad but not the best. Price wasn’t too bad either

5 /5 Urvi Vithlani: We kicked off our London trip with a perfect meal at Dishoom. The okra fries were a great start—crispy, light, and full of flavor. For mains, we ordered the mattar paneer and the signature black dal. While the dal was rich and delicious, the mattar paneer truly stood out - the paneer was soft and the curry packed with wonderful flavors. We ended with the coconut fruit crumble, which was delicious, though we wished it came with a larger scoop of ice cream to balance the generous crumble. Overall, Dishoom delivered on location, friendly and attentive service, and great food. We’d definitely visit again.

5 /5 Naveed Kapadia: We had a lovely evening at Dishoom Battersea and would particularly like to commend our server, Roseanna, for her attentive and thoughtful service throughout.The keema pau was delicious, though the pau was slightly more oily than my personal preference. The bhel was a great starter and really got the taste buds going. Our starters and mains arrived in fairly quick succession, which was entirely our oversight as we hadn’t clearly stipulated pacing. What stood out, however, was Roseanna’s awareness. She recognised this immediately and offered to keep the mattar paneer warm while we enjoyed the other dishes, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch and very much appreciated.The garlic naans were slightly overdone, though still full of flavour, and the Grenache paired beautifully with the meat dishes, rounding off the meal nicely.Overall, we left feeling very satisfied and well looked after. Please pass on our thanks to Roseanna for her excellent service — it made a real difference to the experience. We’re already looking forward to returning soon.

5 /5 dantrob: Believe the hype. This place deserves its reputation, serving up some of the best curry I’ve ever had… and I have Sri Lankan aunties! Tonight’s dish: monkfish curry with parathas, followed by the coconut fruit crumble. The portion sizes were perfect for a guy with a healthy appetite. The curry had enough kick to leave a lingering glow (so if you find butter chicken spicy, I’d steer clear of this one). I love naan, but the parathas were a substantial and fun flaky alternative. And the crumble? All I can say is that it gave me the same feeling as snuggling under the covers on a cold winter night. Of course, food isn’t the only part of eating out. The service was exceptional: the waitress was very helpful with her recommendations. It’s a beautiful-looking restaurant, too, set within the stunning locale of Battersea Power Station. Treat your taste buds!
