Ani Shubitidze Chez Lui is a charming French restaurant tucked away in the heart of Notting Hill. The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and romantic, with beautifully arranged seating both upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs area is lit with candles and creates the perfect intimate setting. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the dessert came with a little show that added a touch of fun and elegance to the evening. The service was good, though we did have to wait a bit for the dessert menu and the bill. Still, the overall experience was lovely.

Jonathan Ward We went to the Old Red Lion for Sunday lunch and like many reviewers, we were not disappointed. All staff we interacted with were friendly and smiled, and the Sunday Roast options are without question the best we have sampled around this area. Fresh and very good quality food is served. A good range of wines are offered, and lovely desserts topped off our visit!

Vasena (Vasi) We’ve been here a few times for brunch and had a birthday celebration in the snug. Thank you for giving me such a truly wonderful birthday celebration. Everything was organised to perfection. The canapés, roasts, and drinks! Absolutely divine. You’ve given me a beautiful memory I’ll always cherish — one seasoned perfectly with care, style, and a touch of magic. With heartfelt thanks (and a very happy heart). We also had a meal last night and the wild boar tagliatelle and the pumpkin risotto were the tastiest pasta dishes we’ve had in a long time. Ree V Amazing and well be back! Fab food, winning wines and great service. Restaurant also had atmosphere and eclectic collection of art. Mr Happiness, our server, was very attentive.

Shelley Fawcett Great menu specialising in small plates. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the sea bass and millionaires potatoes. Save space as there’s a nice dessert menu too, the bread and butter pudding with homemade custard was fabulous. Really friendly staff, we will definitely go back.
