Y T Just a lovely place for dinner. I had the most delicious venison carpaccio as a starter and sirloin steak with chanterelle mushrooms as the main from the two course dinner menu for under £30. Excellent value and quick service. I like that they have a casual bar area at the front and a quieter, more intimate dining area at the back. I would recommend it for special occasions, a treat or just a little get away.

The portions are generous, and everything arrives hot and well-packaged. The staff are friendly, polite, and make every visit a great experience. Yvonne Hall Two of the party of three havent been here for many years. Can confirm its still a great family run restaurant (since 1989) greeted by the owner, made to feel welcome and shown to our table. Service was wonderful, its still a lively restaurant with a great atmosphere. Our food was perfect. I am sure we will not leave it so long next time.

S Purja It has been a tradition in our family to order from mc china wok away for many many years and had always pleased. However, the new man behind the counter is extremely rude and has foul manners it has ruined the entire experience. He shouted at me and was very condescending for not knowing that they do not do a ‘non-spicy’ ribs in curry sauce and proceeded to ask me why I don’t know that. The order was also messed up. Unfortunately they have lost a loyal customer.
