Ahsan Jalil Great authentic Vietnamese cuisine. There are very few Vietnamese restaurants around South East England that could do the taste right and this new addition in tiny town of Burnham is one of them. The only caveat is that its just launched so service and food has to be great in order to stand out. However if they keep the same standards as of now there is no doubt that they will be finest Vietnamese restaurant in the vicinity. Dont be put off by no parking in front as there is an ample parking space behind the restaurant.

On a recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, from the welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable service and delectable cuisine. The ambience sets the tone right from the moment you step in. The space is thoughtfully designed with a contemporary edge, featuring warm lighting and comfortable seating that invites lingering conversations. What truly elevated the mood was the spot-on selection of jazz music playing softly in the background—smooth, unobtrusive, and perfectly complementing the lively yet relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of setting that makes you forget the hustle outside and fully immerse yourself in the evening. Service was a standout highlight, thanks to our attentive server, Saqlene. He anticipated our every need with genuine warmth and efficiency, from recommending pairings to ensuring our glasses were never empty. His professionalism and enthusiasm added a personal touch that made the meal feel truly special—kudos to him for making us feel like valued guests throughout. Now, onto the food: East Eatery delivers on its promise of bold, flavoursome dishes. The steak was a particular delight—tender, perfectly cooked, and bursting with rich, savoury notes that left a lasting impression. The rest of the menu didn’t disappoint either; each bite was thoughtfully seasoned, showcasing a harmonious fusion of spices and fresh ingredients. To wash it all down, the drinks were refreshingly crafted—whether opting for a signature cocktail or a simple beverage, they provided the ideal balance to the meal’s robust flavours. Overall, East Eatery earns a solid 5 out of 5 stars from me. It’s a gem for anyone seeking quality food, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere without pretension. I’ll certainly be returning soon—highly recommended for food enthusiasts in the area.

TheReviewDude Came here on the way into London and I was looking for some traditional Pakistani food. Firstly you need just go and park in the car park further up the road as parking is a nightmare and the area is very busy. The service and food itself was great. The karahi chicken was soft and tender and full of balanced flavours and medium could have probably been a little more spicy. The garlic naan said stuffed naan but it wasnt stuffed, but still good and full of flavor. The chips were just bland really. The gulab jamun were fantastic and so fresh tasting. Over all I was really impressed with the food and would visit again if I was in the area and bring family. The only thing I picked up on was while visiting the toilets the steps and floor was really greasy and the steps area could have done with a proper clean.

Tim Blowers Amazing authentic food. My first time eating Afghani cuisine and I cant wait to go again. Next time with a group so we can try the menu. As a solo diner the portions were large, but the staff catered for me and served ¼ portions of sharing plates. Very accommodating and friendly staff that are happy to advise, great atmosphere and most importantly very tasty food. Lamb falls off the bone.

Faisal Hussain Very nice experience at Steakhouse. Everything was so nice. Family environment. Small kids play area. Food has been so delicious. The host Teofile and all staff members were pure gentlemen. We recommend this place and we will come back again.
