If you’ve not eaten anywhere that Chef Henry Freestone has worked, get here ASAP! (And if you have, come back for more!)

5 /5 Gabriele Pribetti: What an absolute gem of a place! Genuinely one of the best dining experiences I had in London! The dishes are brilliant and exquisite. Oh my god the confit duck just melts in your mouth. The flavour and texture combinations are incredible! Do yourself a favour and go eat at Wilson’s. You’ll want to bring with you all the people you love.

5 /5 Richard Plunkett: I live outside of London, but Ive eaten here twice now with my friends who live locally. Once on Saturday for steak fries, and today for Sunday lunch. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant Ive eaten in for a long time. In essence its a small, local, french styled bistro. In practice, its as close to perfect as Ive come across in my 56 years. The menu is small, its classic french bistro delivered flawlessly. The front of house staff are lovely, everything is easy, the wine list is exceptional, the ambiance is intimate, but theres nothing stuffy about it. I really cant recommend it highly enough. What a glorious experience!

5 /5 Tanya Lake: My Friday lunch at Wilson’s was a joy from start to finish. I had goat’s cheese profiteroles, mushrooms on toast and a crumble with ice cream and strawberries – every dish was simple but full of flavour. The service was warm, the atmosphere relaxed and the interiors cosy with a touch of charm. It feels like a neighbourhood spot that’s quietly special. A great choice for lunch, dinner or date night in Ladywell.

5 /5 Ani: We went for a group dinner and shared all the plates. Lovely little gem in the heart of Ladywell. Loved the duck salad with walnuts, pork belly with green sauce and the brandy apple crumble was incredible! Would definitely recommend. The menu changes each month so looking forward to the next month’s menu!
