1 /5 Sonia Choudhury: We came here for a Christmas meal and paid £60 each, and it was extremely disappointing from start to finish! The food arrived cold, tasted bland, and felt very cheap quality for the price. The service was slow and unfriendly and there was absolutely no festive atmosphere at all. When we raised our concerns with staff, there was no apology or effort to put things right. The kids’ dessert was also misleading. The menu clearly states ice cream with strawberry sauce and berries but what arrived was just a single plain scoop of ice cream. We had to ask for an extra scoop and even then there was still no sauce or fruit as advertised.
In the end, rather than acknowledging anything we raised, we were fobbed off and refunded and sent on our way which felt like they just wanted the situation to disappear rather than taking any responsibility.
Overall, this was a really poor experience and definitely not worth the money. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it, especially for a special occasion.
