Paul O’ Brien This is my local, it’s really nice and the latest landlords are really lovely. My favourite place to stop for a pint at the end of a great cycle journey. In the past one could bring bikes through the gate, so perhaps that will be reinstated in the future, or the front area with no table on the street could have a nice place to lock up bikes safely. Deffo recommend.

Roksana Gazi Must try . Fresh made. Really delicious pizzas. If you have any personal topping that you like you can ask them they will make it for you. And price is really good. Staff are very friendly.

Tahrima Milky Extremely warm, well decorated place, a cozy and comfortable atmosphere to be in. Every food is a 10/10 the prawn dumplings were to die for, the crab dumplings had the perfect bite and the cilantro/green sauce that came with it was refreshing and delicious we drank it all. Ollie was an excellent server and the service was friendly, inviting and supportive. I would get the chocolate dumplings again JUST for the black tea ice cream, they should definitely sell it by itself. There is only one negative thing I would say is that the chocolate dumplings taste “burnt” whether that was how unsweetened the chocolate was or that the roll didnt suit the dish.

Miss K Flavourful food, great portions and great staff. What more can you ask for? The 3 course meal was great value (£34.50) and I left feeling stuffed with leftovers. I was recommended the prawn dish by Irene and I was not disappointed. Irene made our visit special and it certainly won’t be the last time I come.

I asked for a recommendation for a salon to do my evening hairstyle: at one “good” hotel they handed me a list of addresses. At Gravetye, they immediately booked me an appointment at a convenient time and arranged a taxi to the salon. It’s in details like these that you feel the difference between a good hotel and a truly excellent one: initiative, attention to detail, and genuine care for the guest. Soph Stez-Smth Haven’t visited before. Wanted value for money brunch. Service was absolutely fantastic! I didn’t catch the name of our waiter but he was a young male waiter with glasses and he couldn’t have been more attentive; an asset to the team there! Food was tasty and was good value for money. Will return again soon.
