1 /5 F1 Ology: This used to be my go-to spot for a kebab in London, but over the last year or two, it has sadly declined significantly—both in food quality and customer service.
One of the biggest issues is the owner’s attitude. I’ve noticed a real shift in how he treats customers, and unfortunately, it’s not for the better. While I was in the shop, a foreign man came in and politely asked for chicken wings. The owner clearly understood him, yet pretended not to and went as far as mocking his accent. To make things worse, as he was holding the raw chicken wings in the air, he continued to mock the man, dragging out the moment and making the whole thing feel unnecessarily uncomfortable and rude.
Then, while preparing my food, I noticed something even more concerning—cross-contamination. The same utensils used to handle raw chicken wings were then used on my food without being cleaned. This is a serious food safety issue that should never happen in a restaurant.
On top of that, the owner’s general attitude towards customers was just rude and unprofessional. I saw him snap at another customer for no real reason, speaking to them in a sharp and dismissive tone. It was clear he had no patience or respect for the people coming into his shop.
He also seems to be cutting corners with the food. He used to generously apply sauces directly onto the kebabs as requested, but now everything is given in small plastic tubs, which feels like a downgrade in both quality and experience.
The pictures I’ve uploaded are from a couple of years ago when this place was genuinely one of the best, and I can personally vouch for how much better it was back then. Sadly, the standards have dropped so much that I, as a once loyal customer, won’t be returning. A) The food quality has gone downhill, and B) the poor service and ignorant attitude are unacceptable.
It’s disappointing to see a once great kebab spot decline like this, but based on my recent experience, I can’t recommend it anymore.
